Roofing EstimatorFort Myers, FL, United StatesAbout the JobRemote Core Solutions is working with a client in the Construction industry. Their ideal candidate can oversee multiple projects from all aspects: design, estimating, owner selections, and execution. Our team is dedicated to approaching each project individually and ensuring the best customer experience with transparency, excellence, and integrity at the core.This is not the typical sales/project manager/estimator position. They specialize in high-end, custom roof systems, which normally have complicated roofs with valleys, flat sections, and multi-story components. This position will take an aerial view roof report and create an estimate that details the labor and material needed to complete the job. It may also require looking at builder plans, checking elevations, etc.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed estimates for residential projects (shingle, tile & metal)Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the projectDetermine what factors of production will influence the costMaintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating systemGenerate job cost reportsDevelop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractorsPerform hand-off meetings with assigned project managersPresent prepared estimates to managementRequirementsAssociate degree in Construction or similar field, preferredFamiliarity with The Edge estimating software, a plusExcellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflowFamiliarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projectsAbility to read and interpret technical documentsExcellent written communication and interpersonal skillsCore ValuesSafety: The safety of our customers, employees, and community is paramount.Customer Satisfaction: Customers are the reason we exist.
